“Junior Keeper” Two Day Camp (Ages 14-17)

2023 Dates: July 27-28

$115 (Scholarships Available!)

Wolf Park’s “Junior Keeper” camp provides a once in a lifetime experience for high schoolers aged 14-17 interested in pursuing a career in animal husbandry, wildlife research, or wildlife conservation. The two-day experience is designed to introduce campers to a variety of pathways within the field of wildlife conservation and effectively prepare students for internships at wildlife organizations. Campers will have opportunities to engage in daily keeper duties at Wolf Park, which can include feeding, creating and evaluating enrichment, studying animal behavior, participating in wildlife advocacy activities, viewing staff training sessions with our ambassador animals, and even training our ambassador animals themselves.
