GIVE TO OUR ANNUAL FUND
It costs about $80/hour, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to keep Wolf Park running. By donating to our annual fund, you help keep us operational while we also plan for big things in our future. In the coming year, our strategic focus is on
- Connecting our visitors to wildlife by introducing them to native and historically native Indiana species
- Maintaining the highest quality habitats and enrichment for our ambassador animals
- Inspiring the next generation of wildlife conservationists
- Building accessible amenities and interactive exhibits
- Conserving wildlife by supporting wild spaces and rewilding efforts
You can help make this a reality by donating HERE
We also accept donations on Venmo @wolfpark

INVEST IN THE FUTURE
The decisions you make today can benefit the wolves and Wolf Park for a lifetime. Please consider putting Wolf Park in your will or other estate plans. Your planned gift can help ensure that future generations will inherit a world with wolves in it. Please contact savewolves@wolfpark.org if you would like more information on how to:
-
- Include Wolf Park in your will,
- Name Wolf Park as a beneficiary for assets such as IRAs, 401Ks, or life insurance policies
- Make an outright gift of cash, stocks, bonds, mutual funds or real estate
The Erich Klinghammer Wolf Park Endowment helps Wolf Park create long-term financial stability, ensuring that that Wolf Park will be able to continue its mission of research, education and conservation into the future. The endowment is being managed by the Community Foundation of Greater Lafayette. Endowment contributions should be made to them directly, in the name of the Klinghammer Wolf Park Endowment fund or designated as a recipient in your estate plans.
If you already have included Wolf Park in your estate plans, we would like to know! Please contact Karah Rawlings, Executive Director at karah@wolfpark.org or Susan Rowe, Board President at president@wolfpark.org. We appreciate and value the trust you have given Wolf Park to honor your legacy, and we want to be sure your wishes are honored.

Many stores have methods for contributing a portion of your purchase to Wolf Park.
If you live in Indiana, you can support Wolf Park by shopping at Kroger/Payless/Owens Groceries. Register your Plus Card and go to krogercommunityrewards.com and select ‘Wolf Park’ as your charity. (Note: You must re-select every year.)
If you use PayPal when shopping, go here and select Wolf Park as your favorite charity. It will then appear every time you check out with PayPal.
If you are aware of other stores with similar programs, please email accounts@wolfpark.org to let us know and we’ll add it to this page!
GIVE A NON-CASH ITEM
We have many needs that can be met through non-cash gifts. Our needs are always changing, and due to minimal storage space and our efforts to reduce waste, we are particular about the the non-cash donations we can accept. Please see our Non-Cash Gift Policy for all the details about supporting us in this way.
If you have non-cash gifts that we are unable to accept, we would encourage you to sell your items on Ebay. You can designate Wolf Park as the recipient of the proceeds of the sale. More information can be found here.
MAKE A QUALIFIED CHARITABLE DISTRIBUTION
As you review your year-end finances, you may find that you are able to support Wolf Park with a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). A QCD can help you avoid tax burdens while helping us to Save Wolves, Save Wilderness.
At a certain age, some individuals are required to withdraw a set amount (called a Required Minimum Distribution, or RMD) from their retirement account holdings each year. If the RMD is not met, the amount not withdrawn could be taxed at rates up to 50%.
If you find yourself needing to make a distribution, you may be able to take advantage of the unique benefits of a QCD.
Making a QCD from a retirement account, such as an Individual Retirement Account (IRA), can satisfy your requirement. It’s possible you could:*
⦁ avoid the penalty for not meeting the minimum withdrawal amount
⦁ reduce your Adjusted Gross Income, therefore reducing your tax burden and potentially moving you to a lower tax bracket
⦁ make a lasting impact on Wolf Park!
If you aren’t sure if a QCD is right for you, you can contact your financial advisor or tax professional to learn more.

Join the pack by fundraising for Wolf Park! You can direct funds to Wolf Park by hosting virtual fundraisers on Paypal, Facebook, or Instagram. If you would like any logo files or other promotional materials for your fundraiser, please contact wolfpark@wolfpark.org. You can also contact us if you’d like to host a physical event to raise funds. As an organization with a small staff, increasing our reach through volunteer fundraisers helps Wolf Park tremendously!
