Wolf Park's workshops offer once-in-a-lifetime experiential learning opportunities in a variety of fields, including animal behavior, life coaching, and art. Our workshops often incorporate Wolf Park staff and animal ambassadors to provide a unique, multidisciplinary experience.

Mini Vision Board Workshop 

What is a vision board and why create one?

A  vision board is quite literally a collage or a collection of pictures or words that represents your goals, your dreams and your visions.   These boards come in all sizes from pocket size to full poster board size and are a one of a kind creation because they are unique to the person making them. People of all ages from about pre-teen and up can participate.  No matter our age, we all have goals and dreams and we’re never  too old to have a new dream. 

WHY create a vision board?
One reason, simply put, is that it’s fun!  You get to use scissors and glue and markers and glitter and just create. There’s no right or wrong. Creating a board helps you bring clarity to your dreams, desires, and goals. As we go through the steps of creating the board, you will become clearer on what you want to work on in your life or what you want to have more of in your life.  

And once you’ve made one, you can use it as a reminder of those goals. It can encourage you to take action.   There’s something very different about visual reminders versus a written statement of your goal. So join us on Oct. 14 for this fun, yet meaningful time together and leave with a special creation that affirms you and your dreams and desires.

Journaling for a Day Workshop

Journaling is an incredible tool for personal development. Writing words on a page that no one will read can help you gain clarity, boost confidence, lower stress, experience groundedness, and create a means for self expression. You may start the day as a journal skeptic, but you’ll end the day a believer!

Rebecca Lile is the founder of Stretch and Soar Life Coaching in the mountains of Western North Carolina. She received her M.A. in counseling from the University of Kentucky, received the Lilly Scholarship at Candler School of Theology/Emory where she studied and was later consecrated as a diaconal minister, and her professional life coach certification from the Christian Coach Institute of Charlotte, NC. Rebecca works with women of all ages and stages who are struggling with dissatisfaction, transitions or changes in their lives and are wanting more out of life: more passion, more direction, more purpose, more abundance.  Her personal experience as a woman who has navigated many of the stages of womanhood, coupled with my professional training as a counselor, minister, and coach allows her to encourage and inspire women to stretch and soar into a life they love. Rebecca lives in the Smoky Mountains with her husband and two dogs and enjoys hiking, dog training, reading, and traveling. She recently published her first children’s book.

Dates, Cost, and Dietary Information

The Mini Vision Board Workshop will be held October 14, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00pm. This workshop is $35. The Journaling for a Day Workshop will be held October 15, 2022 from 9:00am – 3:00pm. This workshop is $99 and includes breakfast and lunch. If you attend both workshops, the price is $129. Please let us know if you have any special dietary needs or restrictions during the registration process. If you would like to enhance your experience at Wolf Park, we are offering very limited spaces for a fox experience on October 14th at 5:00pm and a wolf experience on October 15th at 3:30pm. You must register for these add-ons separately from your workshop registration. You can register by clicking the “Click Here to Register” button at the top of the page.

Refund policy

For the remainder of 2022, our refund policy is now as follows: Refund requests must be received in writing no later than 4 weeks prior to the event start date. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations made after this date or for no-shows. Refunds will be issued within 30 days after the course ends. A $50 processing fee will be deducted from refunds.
