All buildings are handicap accessible, including the bathrooms. The paths are flat and can accommodate strollers, wheelchairs, scooters and other wheeled transport. The paths are gravel and can be bumpy or wet.
Handicapped parking is available at the Park entrance parking lot. You may also drive up to our entrance and unload your group.
For those unable to walk our half mile loop trail, golf carts are available at no extra fee. Just let the volunteers in the visitor’s center know you will need a cart upon arrival. Carts seat three visitors so there may be a short wait on busy Saturdays. During months of heavy snow and ice, carts may not be available. *COVID ALTERATIONS* Golf carts will be restricted to one person per cart unless two people who need it are from the same visiting family/group. We encourage guests who need a golf cart to consider visiting Wolf Park after the COVID status for Indiana has improved and our restrictions have lightened.
Certified service dogs are permitted inside the park. Companion, emotional support, therapy and pet animals are not. Although service dogs are well-trained, many of them are not prepared to have wolves within a few feet of them. If you can manage without your service dog for an hour or so, we encourage you to leave it behind for the mental health of the dog. If your dog needs to be with you at all times, please let the staff know (preferably in advance). We will have a staff member accompany you on a tour to assist with distracting the wolves or dog as needed. If your dog is thoroughly uncomfortable around the wolves, our staff can drive you and your dog on the tour trail.
Food & Drink
Eating is not permitted inside the park. The wolves want to share! You are welcome to picnic in the grass outside the park before entering. Drinks are welcome and encouraged on hot days! Drinks and snacks are available for purchase in the gift shop.
Please check with a Wolf Park staff member or volunteer if you need assistance.
