45th Anniversary Weekend

Join us for Wolf Park’s 45th Anniversary Weekend and Fundraiser April 20-23rd, 2017.  This year, our annual fundraiser, Walk for Wolves, will be combined with our anniversary weekend and will be different than anything we’ve tried before.

We’re celebrating 45 Years of Wolf Park. We started with just a few wolves in a professor’s backyard, before wolves were even on the endangered species list, and how things have changed!  We’ve grown and expanded our mission over the years. Being a non profit in rural Indiana, we have been able to continue our mission because of the love and support that we have received from our members, supporters, and the people like you! We’ve come a long way but we have further to go. We want to invite you to come join us to celebrate the past, relish in our present, and get excited about our future!

JOIN THE FUNDRAISING

As always, our annual fundraiser supports Wolf Park and all our programs throughout the year. We cannot continue our mission without people like you! This year, our fundraiser participants will compete to earn funds for special projects. Pick a team and a cause, raise funds and join us Saturday, April 22 to see which team won.

Teams
TEAM WOLF: We’re apex predators and we’re ready to compete. All funds earned by this team will go towards habitat improvements and enrichment. This includes stronger fencing, trees and enrichment.
          Team Leader: Pat Goodmann

TEAM FOX: Red and Grey Fox fans unite! We’re cute, we’re survivalists and this competition is all ours! Funds earned by this team will go towards expanding the enclosure to make room for restless foxes.
          Team Leader: Kimber Hendrix

TEAM COYOTE: You know our howls. We’re the most familiar song in the west and we’ve moved everywhere in the U.S. Funds donated to the coyotes will go toward habitat improvements which will allow them to visit different enclosures and receive some much needed foliage in their main pen.
          Team Leader: Monty Sloan

TEAM BISON: We’re the national mammal and the largest land animal in North America. We will stomp all the other teams! All funds earned by Team Bison will go toward hay bale holders and a new tractor.
          Team Leader: Dana Drenzek

TEAM PUPPY: We’re still figuring out basic motor skills, but we’re really happy to be the new members of the Wolf Park family. Funds donated to the puppies will go toward enclosure improvements and enrichment devices to help our puppies learn about the world.
